Since the New Year, 6Towns Credit Union have experienced significant It problems. As a result of these difficulties, 6Towns has had to resort to processing many transactions manually and this has resulted in delays in transferring money into accounts.

At no time has anyone been unable to access their funds. However, what these problems have highlighted is a previously unknown issue with our telephone and email system. We will be addressing the problems with the system soon.

We are happy to report that as of Tuesday afternoon 23rd, we are confident that all of the system issues have been fully dealt with and we are able to conduct business as usual.

At all times we have kept the Financial Conduct Authority fully informed about the nature of the problems and the progress toward resolution of them.

We wish to apologise to all our customers for any inconvenience that has been caused by these problems.
